As a biological concept, an animal, or human is a person who has matured. For humans adults have implications that are based on moral and social concepts. In contrast to a non-adult or "minor" legally adult is a person who is at the point of majority. They are considered to be autonomous, self-sufficient and accountable. Also known as "majors" and "majors", they may also be said to have reached the age of adulthood. Age 18 is an adult legal age but the definition of adulthood can vary by country, legal rights or mental development.

When a human reaches full physical and intellectual maturity it is referred to as adulthood. Commonly, adulthood begins around age 21 or 20. The middle age stage begins from the mid-30s through to the 60s. The transition to late adulthood begins around mid-60s. The physical maturation process is complete when we enter our early adulthood years (20-40s), although your weight and height could be a little higher. In young adulthood, our physical abilities are at their best, including muscle strength, reaction time sensors, as well as the functioning of our heart.
