Silk fell pregnant during the final production of the season 3 finale, and revealed this to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk, who has been doing work on the show since the final season episode was conceived on January 6, 2013. She announced via Twitter her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN named Bo's portrayal alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! voted it as top TV couple of the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
